Advertising, fulfilment by Kaufland and a few optional services cost extra. This guide sets out every published fee, with figures checked on Kaufland’s official pages in November 2026.

What does it cost to sell on Kaufland?
Selling on Kaufland costs a fixed monthly subscription plus a percentage commission on every order. Kaufland Global Marketplace publishes both on its official conditions page, which states there are “no hidden costs”. Advertising, fulfilment and coaching are optional extras you pay only if you use them.
Kaufland seller fees are the charges Kaufland makes to third-party sellers for using its marketplaces. One account covers nine storefronts: kaufland.de, .at, .cz, .sk, .pl, .fr, .it, .es and .nl. The cost groups are:
- Fixed: the monthly subscription.
- Variable: commission per sale, plus a per-item fee on media.
- Optional: Sponsored Product Ads, Fulfilment by Kaufland, voucher redemptions, the EPR service and Performance Coach.

How much is the Kaufland monthly subscription?
Kaufland offers two plans: Basic at EUR 39.95 per month and Plus at EUR 59.95 per month, both plus VAT. One subscription covers all the storefronts you activate. Kaufland bills the fee in local currency on kaufland.pl (zloty) and kaufland.cz (Czech crowns). You can switch plans monthly.
| Plan | EUR per month | Poland | Czechia |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | EUR 39.95 | 175 zł | 990 Kč |
| Plus | EUR 59.95 | 260 zł | 1,500 Kč |
Prices exclude VAT. Checked November 2026.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect four weeks after you request them.
The EUR 30 advertising credit
Kaufland describes a EUR 30 monthly Sponsored Product Ads credit. Its Sponsored Product Ads page ties the credit to the Plus plan, while the conditions page shows it under both plans. Confirm in your seller portal before you choose a plan on that basis. Either way, the credit expires at month end and cannot be carried over or paid out.
What commission does Kaufland charge by category?
Kaufland charges 7% to 16% commission on most storefronts and 4% to 12% on kaufland.pl. The rate depends on the product category. Commission is calculated on the gross sales price, including delivery charges, and Kaufland adds VAT to the commission. Media items also carry a fixed fee per item.
| Category | DE, AT, CZ, SK, FR, IT, ES, NL | PL |
|---|---|---|
| Computers, consumer electronics, robot vacuums, tyres, rims | 7% | 4% |
| Large household appliances | 7% | 7% |
| Tools and garden tools | 10% | 7% |
| Perfume | 10% | 8% |
| Small appliances, electronics accessories, bicycles and e-bikes | 13% | 7% |
| Personal care and health; cars and motorbikes (excl. tyres, rims) | 13% | 8% |
| DIY | 13% | 9% |
| Furniture, lighting, sport and outdoor, baby, toys, groceries | 13% | 10% |
| Media (books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl) | 13% + EUR 0.70 per item | 9% + 3 zł per item |
| Garden | 14% | 9% |
| Mattresses, kitchen and household, clothing, bags, footwear, pet, camping, fitness | 14% | 10% |
| Jewellery | 16% | 12% |
| All other categories | 13% | 10% |
Source: Kaufland Global Marketplace conditions page, checked November 2026. On kaufland.cz the media fee is 18 Kč per item.
Kaufland’s older seller information area on kaufland.de still shows a slightly different grouping for some categories. Where the two disagree, treat the Global Marketplace conditions page and your seller portal as the reference.
A worked example
Say you sell a garden product on kaufland.de for EUR 45.00 with EUR 4.95 delivery. The commission base is EUR 49.95. At 14%, the commission is about EUR 6.99, plus VAT on that fee. Build this into your price before you list, especially in 14% and 16% categories.
What do Kaufland ads cost?
Kaufland Sponsored Product Ads are pay per click. You only pay when a shopper clicks, and under the second-price rule you pay the second-highest bid, not your own. The minimum bid is EUR 0.01. You set a daily or total budget and bid manually or against a target ACoS.
- Automatic bidding: you set a target ACoS between 5% and 50%, and Kaufland sets bids at product level.
- Manual bidding: you set a maximum cost per click by product or by keyword.
- Placements: search results, category pages, product pages and the Kaufland app.
- Budget guide: Kaufland suggests enough budget for at least 100 clicks per product to start.
Ads only run on storefronts where you have active offers. Kaufland also lists Sponsored Brand Ads but does not publish pricing details for them on that page. For bid and keyword tactics, see our post on Kaufland listing optimisation and ads.
What does Fulfilment by Kaufland cost?
Kaufland’s Fulfilment by Kaufland (FBK) page describes four fee types but does not publish the amounts on that page. As checked in November 2026, it covers deliveries to Germany, Slovakia and Czechia. Bulky goods and envelope shipping are currently Germany only. All FBK prices exclude VAT.
- Restocking (storage) fee: charged monthly, based on season and storage space used.
- Fulfilment fee: based on the weight and size of the packaging unit.
- Returns fee: based on the weight and size of each returned unit.
- Additional services: for example, take-back and disposal of old appliances.
Some third-party sites reported in 2025 that FBK was being discontinued, while Kaufland’s own page still presents it as active. Ask Kaufland for the current price list before planning around it. Most sellers ship from their own warehouse or a 3PL.
What other Kaufland fees should you know about?
Beyond subscription, commission, ads and fulfilment, Kaufland lists a few optional charges. Creating vouchers is free, but each redemption costs a small fee. There is an EPR service for France, Italy and Spain, and a paid Performance Coach. Kaufland lists no listing fees and no separate payment fee.
| Charge | Published price (checked November 2026) |
|---|---|
| Voucher redemption (EUR storefronts) | EUR 0.49 under EUR 100; EUR 0.99 at EUR 100 or more |
| Voucher redemption (Poland) | 2 zł up to 400 zł; 4 zł above 400 zł |
| Voucher redemption (Czechia) | 12 Kč up to 2,500 Kč; 24 Kč above 2,500 Kč |
| EPR service (FR, IT, ES) | EUR 1.90 per month per product category, plus statutory contributions passed on at cost |
| Performance Coach | EUR 399 per month, six-month term, renews unless cancelled four weeks before the end |
| Listing products | No fee published |
How can you keep Kaufland selling costs under control?
You control Kaufland costs mainly through pricing, category accuracy and ad discipline. The subscription is small; commission and clicks are where margin is won or lost. Check your figures by storefront, because Polish rates are lower and each country has its own shipping costs and price levels.
- Price on the full commission base. Include delivery charges in your margin maths.
- Check category mapping. A product placed in the wrong category may attract a different rate.
- Use the ads credit. If your plan includes it, a small always-on campaign uses it before it expires.
- Set target ACoS from your margin. Your break-even ACoS is roughly your margin after commission.
- Track rank, not just spend. Watch whether ads lift organic position over time.
